Salary: Grade 5, £25,904 - £28,664 per annum. All appointments will normally be made at the bottom of the salary range.

We are seeking to appoint a Technology Service Desk Engineer to be part of the RCM’s technology support team within the RCM Digital department, which supports over 1700 users globally based in South Kensington. The postholder will report to the Technology Manager and act as one of the main point of contacts for providing 1st/2nd line user support with particular responsibility for supporting staff, students and professors in the use of desktop PCs and phones, business and specialist software, laptops, printing facilities and basic AV equipment. The post-holder will need to have a friendly, helpful and flexible approach and enjoy helping people solve technical problems.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:

- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365, Outlook and Windows 7/10 maintenance, administration and troubleshooting

- Intermediate experience of Hardware equipment; Active Directory & Server administration; SCCM; Telephone VOIP Support (Mitel)

- PowerShell / Scripting skills

- Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills, ideally in a similar internal support environment, with an approachable attitude and a genuine interest in Digital Technology & Music

- Effective problem solving and prioritisation skills with a keen attention to detail

The postholder will also have a great degree of independence in their work, with a supportive management structure.

This post is offered on a permanent, full-time, basis and is immediately available.
