Nigel Frank International are proud to work with a well-respected Microsoft Gold Partner in the West Midlands, in the Birmingham/Wolverhampton area. They are seeking a technical consultant, with experience in delivering IT support, to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivery of support and maintainance to customers, as well as on-site client consultancy. The role will be split between the Technical Support desk, assisting customers and ensuring internal systems run smoothly, with the other part of the role being focused on client consultancy. The latter will require you to travel to client sites as necessary, thus a clean/full licence and car ownership are essential.

You will also be joining an on-call out-of-hours Cloud support team for a week, on a 5-week rotation. This is not a manned-desk requirement, rather it'd see you be available to customers/clients for Cloud issues.

Your experience/knowledge:

* SQL Server Management

* Office 365 experience

* General networking - Remote desktop access, router/firewall troubleshooting and configuration, VPN management, TCP/IP, Switches - VLANs, Stacking, Advanced routing, Wi-Fi, Ubiquiti, Patch Management

* Windows Server: 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2/2016

* Virtualisation - Hyper-V

* Windows Desktop: Win7/Win8/Win10

* Anti-Viruss

* Backup solutions

* MS Exhange Server

* Hardware - Server & Storage

Additionally:

- You will have passed either of the two Microsoft Exams:

* 70-347 Enabling Office 365 Identities

* 70-346 Managing Office 365 Identities and Requirements
