Junior eCommerce Designer
Location: West London
We are actively looking to secure a Junior eCommerce Designer to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Overview of department
The eCommerce Designer is part of the eCommerce team. The vision is, quite simply, to deliver a best-in-class eCommerce operation and continuously improve and optimise the shopping experience.
Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities
The eCommerce Designer is responsible for the creative across the prospect discovery, sales and save and journeys.
Your role will be focused on working on the day-to-day content required to update and maintain the marketing pages of the site, as well as to constantly consider how to better present their products to maximise sales.
Utilising your understanding of eCommerce and excellent design skills, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience for prospective customers.
You will work very closely with the Creative team, eCommerce Managers, Merchandising team, Product Owners, Optimisation team and the in-house team of developers.
Candidate Specification
To be successful in this role you must have excellent UI skills as well as superb communication skills and a thirst to learn and develop. As a bonus, previous experience with an eCommerce or online retailer would be advantageous. You will be an advocate for collaboration and following best practise in design
Key Skill Set & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator
* Good knowledge of UX tools such as Axure
* Experience with HTML and CSS preferable
* Hard working; organised; with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication skills and who enjoys working across a diverse team
* Experience working in an eCommerce team and/or an online retailer would be extremely beneficial
* Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
* By nature, you are curious and restless with the initiative to look for new creative opportunities
