SC Postgres Architect (Postgres, AWS, Agile) - London - 11/12 Month Contract

My client, a global technology consultancy are looking for a Postgres Architect to join them on a Public Sector site in London. The position can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are keen to get someone started in the coming weeks.

Role Background:

* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development teams in the design and implementation of PostgreSQL functionality.

* Also part of the work will be a large scale data migration, including performance and data integrity.

* You will also be responsible for handling high volume transaction handling, code standards implementation and code review.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should have a high level of knowledge with the Postgres specifically the integration/design at 9.6 or later.

* Ideally candidates will have experience of leading small design/development teams in the past.

* The project is working in an Agile environment so prior experience of working in that kind of environment would be ideal.

* Exposure to large scale database/data warehousing would also be beneficial.

* The client has also expressed an interest in seeing candidates who have worked with AWS.

* Candidates should hold an active SC Clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
