AV (Audio Visual) / IT Technician

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit an AV / IT Technician for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£100-£110/day (inside of IR35) based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain studio and production and post-production resources.

* Co-ordinate effective studio use.

* Maintain and update production and post-production systems.

* To issue materials, tools and equipment to staff and students.

* Ordering and stocktaking of materials and equipment.

* Install, modify, repair, update and maintain, as necessary, equipment and facilities.

* Checking deliveries of equipment and materials and ensuring delivery to correct locations.

* Assist staff and managers in the effective planning and implementation of safe systems of work.

* Providing technical support and assistance to staff: setting up and testing equipment used by staff and students.

Requirements:

* Experience in an AV Technician role.

* Knowledge of television equipment.

* IT Skills, including digital workflow and data wrangling.

* Experience of installing, modifying and repairing television equipment.
