Digital Project Manager - Bristol - Negotiable Salary + Fantastic benefits package

This is a chance to join a progressive company who are leading the way in applying and developing 3D computer vision and machine learning technologies for sub sea inspections.

Ideally we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a software engineering and managerial background within a relevant industry area or strong interest in the following fields (e.g.: computer vision, robotics, AI/ML research, aerospace, banking software, etc.) to manage their R&D and lab.

You'll be responsible for running a Government funded R&D project through the full product life cycle, from requirement negotiation, resource allocation, scoping, through to planning, risk management and delivery; ensuring deadlines and budgets are met every time.

The ideal Project Manager would have a passion for new technologies and a willingness to be technically knowledgeable: understand new technologies and discuss them at a technical level with team members and management.

Strong speakers who are confident but open to listening to the teams input is very much sought after here..

You will ideally be interested in having a generalist approach, picking up ad-hoc tasks as well, to make sure your team can do their job.

Skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* A proven track record in successfully delivering end to end, complex, technical solution-based projects.

* Experienced as team leader or manager and supervising more junior members of staff.

* Good problem solving and time management skills with the ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.

* Enthusiastic, professional and proactive attitude.

* Familiar with formal software development and management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile etc.
