We are currently a Product Analyst for one of our well established Peterborough based clients. The position sits within the research and development team and has come about due to the departments growth and companies continued success and expansion. This great opportunity for individuals who have a keen interest in Product Management and wanted to develop in this area, as my client is looking to take somebody on at a junior level and develop them into a Product Manager.Responsibilities include:
· Assist in the production of internal and customer facing sales collateral
· Develop skills and an understanding of technologies through training, personal development and shadowing
· Develop a clear technical and commercial understanding of the aligned services
· Understand sales positioning, pre-sales pitches and pricing mechanisms associated with each professional and/or managed service
· Maintaining research documentation for active products
· Maintaining product collateral such as Fact Sheets, FAQ documents, Contracts and Cost models
· Identify areas for optimisation, make recommendations and work with the relevant teams to implement changes
· Work with vendor management team
· Create and maintain operational processes and documentation
· Present research findings at various levels within the business including senior stakeholders where required
· Provide support to Business development managers during the sales process
· Develop good working relationships with operational teams, sales teams and consultancy teams
Knowledge and Experience
· A keen interest in information technology systems and services
· Familiarity with the IT industry and IT services
· Awareness of a wide range of technologies such as Storage, Virtualisation, Compute, Networking, Security.
· Previously created detailed documentation
· Demonstrable commercial understanding
