Office-based Technical Sales Support - LED Lighting

A fast-growing e-commerce company based in Trafford Park, Manchester is looking for a technical sales consultant to join its team in a busy office in Trafford Park.

The company has expanded from 5 to 18 staff in three years and moved into new modern office space in its own 17,000 facility in the Summer of 2017.

The existing team has been recruited with care and the office and warehouse is a fun but hard-working environment where everyone gets on and pulls together to get things done. The new office includes showers (you can cycle to work), kitchen and a recreation area - all part of the employer's commitment to creating a great place to work.

Responsibilities for this role:

- Dealing with web and phone queries and calls

- Advising customers on product selection and specifications

- Completing sales and orders which are then passed to the fabrication and warehouse team for fulfilment

The candidate:

- Interested in LED lighting/electronics or willing to learn

- Good attention to detail when advising customers or taking orders

- Good personal organisation - e.g. ability to manage your to do list without supervision

- A natural ability to upsell ~ gentle persuasion of our customers to buy more from us or switch their sourcing to us when appropriate

- A team player that gets on with your colleagues and who enjoys coming into work.
