Project Manager (SOX Compliance Programme)

We are actively looking to secure a Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role

We are currently looking for an innovative and pragmatic Project Manager with a "can-do" attitude to join our expert team. This role will require you to take responsibility for the effective ownership of end-to-end project management within our digital delivery programme.

Initially focusing on SOX compliance project, you will ideally have experience of GDPR, PCI regulation or SOX compliance, be comfortable working with technical teams, possess proactivity, great attention to detail and the have ability to multi-task.

Your key responsibilities

* Define and manage clear project scope, and utilise change management controls and processes to ensure that any change is dealt with appropriately, communicated at the highest level and agreed by all stakeholders.

* Take direct accountability for stakeholder management for all deliveries, create and maintain high quality relationships with project stakeholders.

* Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a strategic product roadmap that identifies deliverables and milestones.

* Identification of and management of issues and risks that may impact the delivery

* Taking responsibility for the direction of the project. Ensure that teams are working together and that any escalated issues within the teams are dealt with.

* Working closely with business stakeholders directly, to review the level of benefits realisation of the project, undertake post closure project reviews, capturing and sharing lessons learned.

Essential skills

* Delivery orientated and pragmatic - have an understanding of the theory of Agile project management, but also understand what it takes to deliver. You will need to be able to come up with pragmatic solutions to ensure delivery

* Adaptive - able to adapt styles or the level of working depending on what is appropriate at the time

* Used to working in a collaborative feature team environment

* The ability to detect and resolve problems

* Experience of working in client focused / business roles

* Proven stakeholder management experience

Desirable skills

* SOX implementation, GDPR or PCI experience desirable
