Network Technical Consultant

One of our UK wide technical delivery clients is seeking a Network Technical Consultant to join their team. This role sits within their Network & Security delivery team, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the client's networks operate as efficiently and reliably as possible.

Network Technical Consultant duties will include, but not limited to:

*Implementation of complex solutions utilising industry and vendor best practices

*Ensuring the implementation and support issues are escalated accordingly to product manufacturers

*Providing 3rd line support to diagnose and rectify client network issues

*Ensuring requests for technical support, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis are serviced within SLA

*Act as the technical account specialist for a number of specific customer accounts

*Providing customer facing written documentation on installed projects

*Providing technical knowledge transfer across to Network Operations Centre staff, for a smooth transition into service

*Ensuring appropriate escalation processes are adhered to

*Provide 2nd and 3rd line support out of hours when on call (as part of an 8 week rota)

*Providing technical assistance to the Pre Sales team as and when required

*Act as a source of technical expertise

*Maintaining the appropriate product certifications and awareness of new products

As the Network Technical Consultant you will be required to possess:

*5+ years experience providing consultancy and 3rd line support

*Experience with multiple vendor equipment and technologies

*Experience with Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto and Aruba Networks products

*Ability to explain and convey complex technical diagnosis'/issues to customers via the phone

*Hold the following Vendor Certifications: Juniper JNCIA-Junos / JNCIS-ENT / JNCIS-SEC

*It would be advantageous for you to possess the following Vendor certifications: Palo Alto CNSE / Aruba ACMP/ACMX / Extreme Networks ENS / Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching
