You have a knack for translating data and numbers to useful business information with non-techies as well as natural consultancy skills with stakeholders. You’re confident using: Microsoft SQL Server to manage and mine data.Complex Datasets.MI or BI tools.Consultative skills with stakeholders from finance and commercial backgrounds. And know a bit of: Tableaux. You’re willing to learn: The company’s offerings, services and payment set up.Data science. A Day in the Life:
You will start the day meeting with your direct colleagues and sharing problems faced within your core project. You will collaborate and discuss decisions, challenges and share ideas. After this, you will start your day. If you are easily overwhelmed, this is not the role for you… At present, the only way the data tables can be described is as organised chaos. There are tables in place covering all of the business areas, and the data is of a complex nature. You will over the first few months, focus on creating data sets and will work on improving and organising this. Your focus will be to concentrate on one business project at a time with the main aim being, to spot commercial financial opportunities and areas money can also be saved. Meaning, you will have access to all the commercial and financial data. You will work closely with the data teams in the UK as well as the US and will consult key stakeholders on findings and business opportunities. Role Progression:
This organisation encourage progression and for you to move around within the company. There is a lot of room to forge own path and to aid this, funding for ongoing training. This role could progress to an insight management position, or a Data Science roe within the company. Application process:
