A thriving, international, engineering company who manufacture specialist machinery for clients all over the world is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Contractor) to join its team based in Norwich.The Norwich manufacturing operation employs 70 skilled, dynamic and loyal staff who are experts in their field and the company has a financial yearly turnover in the region of £20 million. Due to the high demand of the product, the Contractor will join the technical team of 5 for a minimum of 4 months.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer (Contractor) you will be:
Designing and developing new machinery as well as modifying concepts, layouts, drawings, schedules and machine manuals in Solidworks. To be a successful Mechanical Design Engineer (Contractor) you will have the following skills and experience:
Good understanding of general engineering / manufacturing.Experience in designing machinery/ mechanical related products.Previous experience using Solidworks. You will be required to work 39 hours per week.
In return, you will receive a salary of £20 -£28 per hour.
