IT TECHNICIAN

Part Time, 52 weeks per year

Applications are invited for the post of IT Technician at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. Reporting to the Network Manager the successful candidate will have a key role and responsibility for helping maintain and manage the school’s computer network.

RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 940+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 300 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.

The IT Technician will join and support our busy IT Support team. The post holder will need to be able to maintain hardware and software, carry out routine checks of desktop computers and servers, and provide technical support to staff and pupils. Knowledge of general PC hardware, software maintenance and fault diagnosis is a requirement.

The post is 25 hours per week, hours negotiable.
