A growing business that aims at facilitating the movement of vehicles across the UK is looking for an experienced Developer to join its team in Birmingham, in the heart of the city centre, walking distance from Snow Hill station!The role comes with remote working plus great opportunities for career progression, a performance bonus up to 10%, 25 days annual leave plus 8 days public holidays and a pension scheme.

As a Developer, your daily duties will include:
Ongoing development of production applications.Writing tested, idiomatic and documented C#, Angular, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.Optimising code for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.Taking a DevOps approach to projects, identifying risks and determining how to address and complete tasks.Participating in technical design and planning.Involvement with applications monitoring and reporting.Coordinating the workflow between the team members and yourself. To be a successful Developer, you will have:
Extensive experience in C# .NET Core development (ideally in Linux env)Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML5.A deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience.An understanding of AWS services: EC2, ECR, ECS, ELB, WAF, VPC, S3 and Aurora MySQL.Experience with container technologies, such as Docker and ECS.Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies and other web services used in the systemAn understanding of handling infrastructure as code (Terraform and HasiCorp) You will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday.
In return, a Developer will receive a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, great opportunities for career progression, a performance bonus up to 10%, 25 days annual leave plus 8 days public holidays and a pension scheme.
