REMOTE DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Docker)

Working alongside a media who is looking to promote their online footprint, you will be required to be on site with the end client with a lot of flexibility with remote work throughout this exciting contract. The client requires you to lead when asked upon the overall DevOps processes, whilst setting strategies and evolve according to current technologies/projects.
This opportunity is for an initial 6 month contract located in West London. The main scope of the project is migrating the on premise infrastructure to the AWS Cloud platform whilst also focusing on improving the durability and sustainability of their applications.
The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience with AWS migration projects, with a track record in finding simple and sustainable solutions to complex migration problems. As a senior lead communication and collaborating with colleagues is essential. The focus is very much on stability, availability and quality within your DevOps team.
Required experience:
* Experience in Infrastructure as Code - Terraform (to create, change and improve).
* Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
* Maintain up-to-date systems through operating systems patches and upgrades (For both on premise and cloud infrastructure AWS).
* Extensive experience of using, operating and securing Linux operating systems.
* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies.
* Experience with automation/configuration management - Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
* CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins (object orientated development).
* Writing container code for Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes.
