Technical Specialist - Die Attach (SMT) Materials

My client manufactures electronic assembly materials for soldering, sintering and cleaning applications on PCBs, LEDs and PV products. They're currently looking for a Technical Specialist in Die Attach who can provide sales support, conduct demos in the lab, and oversee internal projects.

Reporting in to R&D, this position will be based in New Jersey and have an estimated travel time of 20-30%

This will cover Global Key Accounts in Asia, Europe and the US.

The successful candidate will need:

* A degree in Materials Science (ideally with a specialism in metallurgy)

* Experience in die attach (either as a Process Engineer, Applications Engineer, R&D engineer, Project Manager, or similar)

* To reside in NJ

* A willingness to travel internationally to customer site, 20-30% of the time

This position would be a great fit for someone in R&D who wants to transition in to something a bit more 'customer facing', whilst still retaining a very technical outlook. It would also be ideal for someone in a technical support role (perhaps a Field Applications Engineer or Process Engineer) who wants access to large key accounts on a global level.
