On behalf of our client, a leading IT provider for the global travel and tourism industry we are looking for a Video Solution Architect with focus on collaboration between Cisco and Microsoft environments. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Cisco Telepresence infrastructure environment. Performing operational duties to support the videoconferencing service including incident resolution and problem management. Collaborating with other teams, external companies and vendors to assure service continuity and maintain uptime.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Cisco on-premise infrastructure: TelePresence Content Server, Collaboration Meeting
* Server, TelePresence Management Server, TelePresence Communications Server, UCS, Servers
* There are about 450 Video end-points
* company has more than 16,000 WebEx users that will move to MS Teams
* Cisco / Teams Interoperability
* Broadcast / Streaming solutions
* Collaboration Room Evolution
* Serve as a key technical interface to internal and external customers
* Ensure system integrity and security needs are followed and maintained in all designs
* and operations
* Provide technical leadership and mentor internal team members
* Be an active member of the team as it performs Incident Response Duties
* Work cross-organization to integrate and deliver new services
Job Qualification
* Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)
* Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in at least three of the following areas:
* Design, Build and Test real time collaboration solutions
* Experience with Pexip, BlueJeans, Polycom RealConnect or similar
* Broadcasting and Streaming solutions
* Advanced Networking & Security concepts
* Skype For Business / Lync
* Good experience with both Linux & Windows flavors of Operation System
* Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS) and networking concepts
* Experience with coding/scripting (python, java, ruby, etc.) is a plus
* Technical writing, documentation and Project management competencies needed
