Senior SQL DBA - Location: Rondebosch, Cape Town - Salary: 60-70,000 CTC

My client is highly established Microsoft end user, that provide digital communications support to the educational sector, with a strong presence in the Cape Town proximity. They currently require a Senior SQL Database Administrator.

My client is looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join them in house, to help to develop the database infrastructure and services through project work. The position requires a confident, experienced DBA that is capable of working within a team to gain results, and aid in maintaining the database infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

* NQF level 7 in a relevant qualification AND/OR 7 + years enterprise ICT applications exposure

* 5 + years' relevant experience - MS SQL Database Administration

* Expert knowledge with using MS SQL (2008-2016)

* Ability to write SQL code

* Proficient experience with SQL development and database troubleshooting
