My client is a marketing, sales and distribution company that develops OTC healthcare, toiletries and beauty brands for sale through all trade channels.

They deal with all aspects of marketing, sales and distribution for its own brands and those of other brand owners.

The successful candidate will play a key role in landing the new strategy and 5 year innovation pipeline on well known brands and the creation of new brands, helping to achieve short and long-term business targets.

Role and Responsibilities

* Creation of new brand identities and execution plan for roll out into the market.

* Full ownership of Profit and Loss (P&L) and the delivery of the annual plan;

* Ongoing management & implementation of the media activity, in store execution (inc. Shopper Marketing) and internal alignment to support the annual plan;

* Continuous development & roll out of an innovation roadmap;

* Ongoing review of market trends, alongside companies Insights Manager and Fleet Product Manager to identify opportunities for new brands and then to scope out the size of prize;

Essential Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* Previous experience in a marketing operations role with P&L responsibility.

* A balance of strategic, analytical and creative skills.

* Project leadership and experience with strategy development with successful results.

* Analytic capability to help lead business case, address business issues and opportunities and make strategic recommendations.

* Understanding of digital and social media.

Preferred Skills

* Experience working on a new brand to market or creating a new brand.

* Strong track record of leading multi-functional teams, including direct work with RnD.

* Experience of selecting, managing and reviewing agencies.

* Experience working in the Health & Beauty industry.
