HR Business Partner - Generalist - £40-50k - Flexible on location

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner to join a prestigious FTSE250 global oragnisation. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for the delivery of projects including change programmes and other business programmes, ensuring business alignment and legal compliance.

** Location is Flexible **

Main Tasks:

* Working with the HRBP teams, provide input into the people strategy, implement and embed across business areas of responsibility.

* Provide input to the design of HR policy, programmes, projects, methodologies and solutions in support of business' projects for greater co-ordination and consistency of approach.

* Project manage through support and delivery of HR policy, change programmes, strategic HR initiatives and projects across business area of responsibility

* Provide expertise in good people management practice using external knowledge and business insights to identify and drive change by analysing employee trends, behaviour and employee engagement.

* Programme key activities, dates and milestones in to an HR project plan

* Act as champion and review and promote best practice in people-related matters in support of business strategy.

* Working with the HRBP teams, plan, manage and seamlessly execute people transitions both in and out of the company whilst minimising associated risk.

* In conjunction with the Senior HR Manager, Bids, be accountable for carrying out due diligence and the provision of an accurate and timely cost model for the purposes of future contract costings and profit, to include any costs arising from necessary transformation plans involving people changes.

* Review all contractual arrangements associated with the people aspects of a project for consideration.

* Comply with the sector approach to managing change programmes to ensure consistency of approach, compliance, and maximising the people experience whilst minimising risk within the business.

* Comply with all HR PMO governance, control procedures and project management methodologies, including supporting tools, guidelines and templates, in order to ensure consistent of application across the sector.

* Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the case for change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios ad options to mitigate.

* Be an ambassador for the function and represent HR internally and externally (as appropriate).

Experience:

* Chartered MCIPD, or equivalent educational achievement (Level 5) plus experience.

* Relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships).

* Experience in planning and managing change programmes.

* Knowledge of current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends and evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

* Is personally credible, can provide examples at senior levels /multiple disciplines across the organisation that validate HR expertise and how strategic aims have been met.

* Ability to build relationships and work in partnership with leadership, to link business objectives to HR deliverables.

* Experience of providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance to management.

* Effective influencer and communicator with the ability to challenge in a non-confrontational way to improve organisational performance.

* Demonstrable experience in developing relationships with Trade Unions and establishing partnership arrangements for ongoing positive interactions

* Ability to adapt to changing business needs.

* Ability to provide commercially focused HR solutions.
