C++ Developer / C++ Software Engineer (C++ Multi-threading SQL Networking). Would you like to work on complex financial systems as part of a small, Agile development team where you will take ownership, have your voice heard and be supported to develop your skillset and deepen your knowledge of financial markets?

Global financial software house with in excess of 2,000 institutional clients is seeking a passionate C++ Developer to design and develop low latency, high throughput pre-trade systems that comply with MiFID II regulations; you'll be working with a new codebase and developing many new components required for the initiative.

This is a high profile role in which you will work across the full C++ development lifecycle, liaising with stakeholders including product managers to clarify project requirements and specifications during development, testing and post-production to drive the project through to completion.

You'll be based in the modern, open plan City offices with a friendly and informal team atmosphere.

Requirements:

*Advanced level C++ development skills including multi-threading

*Experience with large distributed systems

*Strong knowledge of Networking technologies (HTTP, multi-cast, UDP, IP, TCP)

*Strong knowledge of SQL

*Familiarity with big data/time series databases

*Knowledge of FIX and other financial messaging standards

*Excellent communication skills

*Degree educated, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
