We are looking for a Programme Manager / PMO (Digital Retail) for a prestigious retailer based in London.
The ideal Programme Manager / PMO (Digital Retail) will have extensive experience in digital retail or ecommerce. Ideally you would have gravitas and knowledge of delivery so any Programme Manager backgrounds will be welcome.
YOU MUST HAVE DIGITAL AND RETAIL EXPERIENCE AS A MINIMUM
The role is to lead a small PMO team to help and guide the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support, including operational reporting, risk and issue tracking, quality control and post project benefits tracking and reporting.
Summary of Key accountabilities
*Collect, consolidate and analyse program and project data to support effective decision making
*Monitor and report on compliance with established standards to ensure the organisation adheres to agreed policies and standards
*Develop and deliver services and support project and program management capability across the programme to reduce project related risk
Stakeholder Management and Communication
*Encourages buy in, coordinates, challenges and influences input from the relevant stakeholders to help the business implement its strategic agenda.
*Defines and communicates the role of Programme Office, and ensures the needs of the project and programme management community are being met.
*Translates and articulates the expectations of the leadership team regarding project and programme management.
Programme / Project Information Hub
*Responsible for capturing and maintaining the master information about projects and programmes, including inputs to and feeds from relevant parties/stakeholders.
*Works closely with Finance, IT and programme stakeholders to ensure that information is accurate, consistent, and timely.
*Identifies opportunities to improve the sourcing, maintenance, communication and utilisation of project information.
*Leads the monitoring and tracking of progress across the programme of change in collaboration with Programme/Project Managers (as others as necessary/appropriate). Provides board support in to SteerCo's / other governance groups as necessary.
