Software Test Manager (MS Development, UI & Web apps) required to work for a prestigious Financial Services organization for an initial 6 months working in the City of London.

Main Purpose of the Role:

The role involves managing the test team and ensuring product and quality control is performed to the agreed standards.

Key duties include the coordination of all testing activities during every stage of the test process, as well as coordination all parties required to facilitate testing. Provide authoritative guidance and advice to the test team, and advise on the practicality of the project, testing approach and definition of the overall testing strategy.

Skills required include the ability to coordinate teams, multitasking, executive leadership and communication as well as presentation skills. Good stress management in this time-dependent job is a necessity, as is dynamism and self-motivation.

Required qualifications include ISTQB or ISEB certification, preferably with a Bachelors / Masters degrees in mathematics, engineering or science.

Extensive experience in Microsoft Development Technologies

Extensive experience in User Interface and Web application development projects

Agile Delivery

Waterfall Delivery

Test processes and defect management

Test management software (for example HP Quality Suite)

Test Automation software

Work Experience:

Extensive experience of Testing software in a banking environment
