This company is recruiting for a Business Analyst to be based in their Camden office.

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Business Analyst will play a vital role providing insights that drive strategic decisions within key commercial initiatives. This includes supporting their content partners across all genres by providing financial and performance reports, interpreting and reporting customer information and trends and assessing ROI on potential new business opportunities.

You will work closely with the International Products team to understand and track the performance of numerous products against a core set of KPIs and help to form strategies to deliver above and beyond revenue expectations. You will strive to improve the quality of both partner and product reporting to provide greater insight and support to their content and technical partners.

In addition, the role will assist in the development of new datasets, dashboards and reports. It is also expected that the Analyst will form and propose ideas on how reports can be structured and automated.

Main Duties:

- Produce regular revenue and usage reports required for their various global content and technology partners;

- Analyse content use over their digital delivery platforms in order to identify opportunities for future content partnerships and to support existing partnerships;

- Identify and recommend improvements to the current analytics and reporting toolset to better service the company and its core requirements ;

- Turn analysis into insights that drive strategic decisions;

- Assist in the development of an overarching reporting platform and the underlying datasets;

- Provide analytical support to various projects that the business has identified;

- Ad hoc competitor research.

This role is suited to a highly analytical candidate with a strong business acumen and a proactive and inquisitive nature, who enjoys working as part of an energetic and collaborative team.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field;

- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach;

- Advanced Excel skills;

- Be adept at communicating and presenting data and information, clearly and concisely, both verbal and written;

- Take a methodical and detailed approach to problem-solving;

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills;

- Strong drive for results, self-starter/motivator;

- High level of proficiency with Tableau and other data visualisation tools;

- Strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience with Google Analytics;

- Broad understanding of the news industry and the direction of the content industry in general;
