Insight Analyst
My Edinburgh based client are currently looking to attract an Insight Analyst in Edinburgh. This role would be well suited to a Business Analyst or BI specialist with strong report production capabilities, ideally with good SQL knowledge.
What will the role involve?
You will be responsible for the production and delivery of business reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This is a highly automated technical environment and you will look to continually assess and improve on report production processes.
You will have responsibility for the management of the company's marketing channels and maintaining documentation for this area.
You will analyse and synthesise large data sets to draw out key findings using statistical and logical techniques. Subsequent reports will be delivered to key stakeholders, highlighting opportunities and areas of improvement.
Data taken from customer trends will be used to develop new strategies for marketing and you will play a critical role in all areas of data analysis and warehousing.
What experience do I require?
* You will have previous experience working in analytical role, ideally having experience with SQL Server or PostGRES.

You should have a theoretical knowledge of databases and database tables and experience in manipulating large volume data sets.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of creating MI reports and data visualisations, have strong working experience with visualisation and analysis tools, such as Tableau and experience utilising or knowledge of consumer classification systems.
