An IT Risk Manager is required by prestigious organisation in their Tunbridge Wells offices.

As the IT Risk Manager you will play a key role provide independent views on security strategy and controls to seniors and board members and ensuring adequate of first line security controls.

Your responsibilities as the IT Risk Manager you will be a SME for the risk function, cover other second line activities and info ration and technology risk framework. A key part of the role is to support the implementation and operation of the IT Risk framework. You will be the second line SME in IT Risk and assist the senior IT Risk manager when needed. Work with the Operational Risk team to identify, quantify and mitigate of IT Risks. Provide second line opinion to the wider business and put effective risk mitigation strategies in place.

Essential Skills for the IT Risk Manager:

* In-depth knowledge of IT Risk faced by financial services companies with a strength in cyber/security risk

* Strong experience of IT Systems, processes and controls

* Proven track record of creating risk assessments

* Ideally you will hold CISM or CISP or CISA

* Knowledge of risk management and identification methodologies

* Experience with technology risk frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO27000, ISF etc

* Excellent communication skills and an attention to detail

* Prior experience in the financial services industry would be a big advantage
