Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.

Based in London our client is looking for a Messaging Cloud Engineer on an initial 6 Month Contract with very likely extensions.

The resource predominantly require deep domain knowledge of Microsoft Messaging On-Premises and O365 hosting technologies to understand and gather business/technical requirement to design a solution for seamless migration to cloud, that includes documentation

The resource should be proficient in collaborating with other functional and technical teams to plan and execute pre-production testing and Production velocity migration planning. Considering the complexity of co-existence within O365 hosting, hybrid with on prem with compatible exchange version co-exist with Lotus Notes infrastructure

Ability to lead the MSExchange Mailbox Migration to Office365, assist with migration escalations and create end user knowledge base

In-depth knowledge on various Office365 hosting infrastructure to understand the feature and functionality compatibility and mitigation

Key technical skills with deep understanding and hands-on expertise on,

*Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 & O365 versions and messaging technologies

*Exchange Unified Messaging 2010, 2013 & 2016

*Skype, SharePoint and Unified Messaging Integration

*Application Integration via EWS, POP, IMAP, SMTP

*Network Load Balancer, Network requirement for messaging migration

*Automate the routine tasks with proficiency on PowerShell Scripting

*Good understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies and Infrastructure management operations

Secondary technical skills,

*Active Directory : Graph API, MS Windows 2008R2 / 2012 /2016

Non-Technical skills required

*Business and Technical communication, documentation proficiency

*Strong written communication (able to write high quality end user comms, product documentation aimed at business and end users)

*Ability conceptualize solutions and communicate them effectively to internal teams and leadership

*Ability to be concise, articulate, and assertive in all forms of communication

*Excellent analytical, decision making and troubleshooting skills

*Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a group of senior technical / management teams

*Ability to deal with partners and peers located worldwide

*Creative and skillful in making Power Point decks look professional and sleek

*Knowledge and experience working in an ITIL driven environment
