I am looking for a Senior Design Engineer from a Mechanical background who will be responsible for the overall structure design of automotive power electronics products. This role comes with fantastic benefits, a competitive market salary and responsibilities to also include analysis, calculation during design, technical specifications and report writing.

Core Skills

* Minimum of 3 years working with Automotive Power Electronics products

* Familiar with mechanical design principles, force analysis and tolerance analysis

* Experience in automotive converter structure design and manufacturing processes.

* Knowledge of plastic and metal moulds.

* Familiarity with Mechanical structure design (automotive converter structure design)

* Experience in 3D modelling software - SolidEdge, Solidworks or similar

* Knowledge of APQP documentation is desirable.

As the Senior Design Engineer your responsibilities will not only include the conception and scheming design of automotive power electronics products but also researching the technology of these products and structures and the promotion of product implementation. Other key responsibilities include;

* Structure design of power electronics products

* Responsibilities for DFMEA of power modules

* Responsible for the analysis and the causes of defects in products and formulating corrective and preventative measures.

* Defining test methods

* Defining product BOM list.
