I am currently looking for an experienced IT Technical Consultant to work with a specialist healthcare provider.

This role has been created as they have acknowledge the need for someone with a breadth of exposure across IT in areas of Cloud, Infrastructure, applications and security, preferably from a healthcare or highly regulated organisation,

Based in London with the opportunity for 2 days from home.

You will be working in their UK IT department that provides applications, infrastructure, network and desktop services to all of their facilities working alongside key strategic providers.

You will be responsible for:

Management of future state Cloud Architecture and leading IT infrastructure and applications transition from on-premise estate to cloud

Ensuring that all IT perspectives are in line with the technology and governance strategies, policies and standards

Development of architectural views for an enterprise in accordance with best practice.

Business analysis, including the development of business vision and strategies,

Advising on best practices of security and ensuring that these principles are adhered

Providing technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas

You will have:

Solid understanding and experience of Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud service provider & migration from physical infrastructure to cloud

Must have a knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory/FIM and its concepts.

At least 5 years professional experience providing technical design leadership in large or complex projects in a regulated environment.

Exposure to clinical EPR/medical systems, health informatics, are beneficial

Mapping IT Architecture across all levels infrastructure/applications/security

Strong knowledge of relevant architectural frameworks such as TOGAF (preferred) or Zachman
