A highly successful manufacturer and supplier of coatings, sealants and adhesives based in Lancashire are seeking a Production Chemical Mixing and Filling Operator to join its rapidly expanding team working on a rotating shift basis - mainly in the manufacturing area - involving the batch manufacturing of coatings, sealants and adhesives to highly controlled specifications. As a Production Chemical Mixing and Filling Operator your duties will include:
Chemical blending and filling to exact standards.Carrying out quality control tests to set methods.Maximising productivity from all process equipment by minimising downtime and waste.Monitoring, controlling and recording information on all paper and electronic systems.Undertaking and process improvement projects, internal audits and cycle counts as required.Ensuring that mixing, packaging and labelling specifications are adhered to at all times.Using machinery and equipment competently and confidently.Implementing necessary process controls and improvements. To be a successful Production Chemical Mixing and Filling Operator you will have the following skills and experience:
Proven ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines to meet and exceed customer expectations.Be dependable, take personal ownership of all aspects of the job role.Support and participate in the training and development of team members. The Production Chemical Mixing and Filling Operator will be working rotating shifts of:
6.00 am to 2.00 pm / 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm (earlier finishes on Friday for every shift).
In return, the Production Operator will receive a salary of £19,500 per annum, including overtime, holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays and a shift allowance.
