As the Director of Digital, it will be your role to design and implement our digital strategy. That way, you’ll be part of delivering major and complex change that helps us achieve our Vision objectives. It’s about managing the governance and assurance frameworks, while working with the Corporate Leadership Team to ensure key transformation outcomes are achieved. With your expertise, you’ll promote Digital by Default principles, raising awareness of the benefits that digital brings. As a strong, visible leader, you’ll bring about effective and sustainable digital services within a challenging financial environment.

With substantial experience of leading significant change in a large, complex and dynamic organisation, you’ll come with a relevant degree. Alternatively, you’ll bring a related professional or management qualification at post-graduate level. Beyond this, you’ll have demonstrable knowledge of key digital service areas, and how the issues facing local government and the wider economy impact them. An effective communicator, you can influence and negotiate with people at all levels. In fact, you’ll know how to promote innovative business models and embed a positive culture that helps us achieve our transformation aspirations.
