DevOps engineer - Birmingham - £500

DevOps Engineer vacancy: An SaaS business are growing to build an automated deployment and test solution. This position requires a DevOps engineer to improve the running of the software deployment across their virtualised infrastructure estate.

This role will require you to collaborate with developers, testers and infrastructure engineers. You will be implementing the configuration of the cloud infrastructure estate, creating synergy across their global IT department.

The role will suit an individual who is motivated and enjoys being involved with a large project.

Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £500 per day

Responsibilities:

* Script automated deployment commands

* Design and manage the configuration of Linux servers across the AWS cloud estate

* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless efficiency

Skills required:

* Assembling Linux systems, or other Red Hat alternatives like CentOS

* Experience using configuration management and deployment tools (Chef, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes)

* Exposure crafting virtualised cloud infrastructure (AWS)
