Lead Front End Developer

Location: Manchester City Center Salary: £40,000- £50,000

Type: Permanent Technology: JavaScript, Angular, React

A team of digital experts is being built to achieve this companies main objective; doing the right thing for their customers. This digital team will be demonstrating how to deliver rapid change across their organisation.

You will act as a Front End Technical Lead in the development of client side code for their public facing channels. You will be consistently developing new featured and launching new platforms. You will be working in an agile software development environment within the IT Technology Office, working collaboratively with a blended team made up of DevOps, UX, testers and architects. You will need to deliver high quality, robust and testable code whilst acting as a subject matter expert for all the front-end applications. If you are a strong front end developer that can help drive technology choice and direction this is the role that's going to take your career to the next level.

Skills

* Extensive JavaScript experience (vanilla JS, Angular & React)

* Strong HTML and CSS (inc experience with SASS/LESS)

* Solid understanding of web application development processes

* Strong object oriented programming knowledge and knowledge of good design patterns

* Track record of successful software delivery

* Experience with Agile methodologies

* Experience with DevOps toolchains and continuous integration
