Front End Developer for Leading Media Company in Central London
Duration - 3 Months (Initially)
Pay - £600 per day
RESPONSIBILITES
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing one of our new and exciting products which is to be launched later this year. You'll do this by -
* Working closely with UX & visual designers to ensure new features are technically feasible & follow best practice
* Delivering code and solutions with a balanced view on technical and business requirements
* Interacting with the delivery teams to understand business and user requirements
* Maintaining high coding standards and practices
* Problem-solving in all areas of web development
* Providing accurate time estimates on work
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You'll have
* 5+ years front-end development with ability to hand-code advanced HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* A portfolio, Codepen or Github with examples that you're proud of
You'll have plenty of experience in
* Setting up and initiating new projects
* Responsive web and UI development
* Modern UI frameworks, e.g. Foundation
* RESTful web service design
* MVVM frameworks, we are currently using AngularJS and React
* Node, NPM, Bower, Gulp
* CSS pre-processors. We're using SCSS.
* Version control. We're using Git
* Performance optimisation tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed
* SEO best practices
* Delivering and communicating within a team environment
Bonus points for the following experience
* Adobe Experience Manager
* Sightly templating language
