This e-commerce retailer is looking for a mid-level web developer with 4-8 years' experience to join their existing small web development team in their modern new offices. They are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with good all-round skills. A 30/70 frontend/backend balance would be a good fit.

The current development team play a pivotal role in the business through the ongoing development of their very successful customer-facing website as well as in-house systems. This new role will is being created as part of their continued expansion and will involve development in these areas as business needs dictate.

Role:

- The role requires the successful candidate to:

- Be responsible for all phases of the software lifecycle.

- Take ownership of solutions from inception, through to delivery and maintenance.

- Effectively manage own time between ongoing tasks.

- Design and develop high quality, well-documented and comprehensible code.

- Support their own developments as well as perform general bug-fixes, enhancements and maintenance as required.

- Learn and familiarise themselves with existing code and platforms.

- Adhere to development policies and standards.
