Software Asset Analyst

One of our top Financial Services clients based in Warwickshire is looking for a Software Asset Analyst to join their growing team. You will provide support in tracking software license entitlements and leveraging industry best practices. You will liaise with both internal departments and also third party vendors.

Software Asset Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:

*Managing relations with the Software Asset Management service providers to ensure the agreed service is being delivered

*Advise and influence the business to that the Software Asset Management (SAM) processes are being adhered to. Highlighting any risks where identified

*Analyse and interpret third party data to make and act upon decisions in relation as to how to maximise the software on the estate

*Facilitating the software license procurement process

*Utilise specialist knowledge and expertise to advise the wider IT Vendor Management on all software licence renewals

*Take ownership of key vendor portals, managing the relationships and providing support to the relevant vendors to limit and control the accounts usage, software downloads and licence usage

As the Software Asset Analyst you will be required to possess:

*Experience managing software licencing across different platforms (desktop, server and cloud) at enterprise level

*Demonstrable knowledge of the software asset lifecycle

*Strong varied knowledge of the complexities of licence contract terms and software licence types

*Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and Asset Management Solution

*Qualification within ITAM / ITIL V3 / ISEB SAM is desirable
