This role will involve taking full solution and technical ownership and presenting the solution to senior stakeholders. On an ongoing basis you'll also analyse and resolve service delivery issues and monitor technology performance looking for additional opportunities to improve it.

We're looking for Lead and Senior Software Engineers who have experience of working as part of a flexible software delivery team working in a variety of styles, including Agile, and who also have experience in object orientated programming languages and cloud technologies (for example, Java, AWS and Unix technologies).

* Demonstrate knowledge of a technical specialism

* Analyse and resolve service delivery issues

* Work on your own initiative

* Follow and/or contribute to the development of documented processes

* Monitor technology performance and identify opportunities to improve it - continual improvement ethos

* Facilitate small and large changes - working alongside our Architecture community

* Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders across the business

* Develop own skills and actively coach and develop others

* Develop an understanding of our services

* Working collaboratively within a team structure supporting and learning from other team members mentoring junior developers (where applicable)

* Supporting the standardisation of documentation

As this will be a brand new office in Bristol you'll be in from the beginning building relationships, shaping the culture/processes and helping the business scale up.
