A company specialised in leading edge CMOS image sensors is looking for an inspired and proactive Senior Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer for their design centre in France to support their dynamic team in leading a paradigm shift in image sensor design across many industries. In this position you will be responsible for designing innovative vision sensors and devices. You will be working on pixel design and high-performance, low-power Analog/Mixed Signal ICs in CMOS technology.

Responsibilities include:

* Implement the full Analog/Mixed Signal IC development cycle (including concept, specification, system design, transistor-level circuit design, Analog/Mixed Signal simulation, layout, verification, validation).

* Perform Analog/Mixed Signal simulations on circuit level (Spice) and system level (VHDL-A/Verilog-A/SystemC/Matlab).

* Design low-power CMOS circuits for sensor systems and sensor signal processing

* Perform full custom silicon layout & verification of specific blocks.

You will also participate in the characterisation of integrated circuits, specifications, test protocols and test reports. Working in close collaboration with the whole R&D team you will be involved in activities for any technical post-sales issues, participate in technology supplier and tool selection as well as in developing methodologies and flow efficiencies. You will be communicating with suppliers, partners and customers. Occasional travel will be required within Europe as well at to the US.

The successful applicant will be industry degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CMOS transistor-level and system-level design, circuit simulation and layout from within a position in a product development company. You should have strong knowledge of CMOS fabrication technology and design aspects of CMOS Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design as well as experience in the IC Design cycle up to tape-out including blocks like ADC, DAC, PLLs, OPAs/OTAs, switched capacity circuits, bandgaps and LDOs and I/V references.

You should have working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Cadence Assura, PVS and Mentor Calibre and be proficient in VHDL-AMS/VHDL, Verilog-A or Verilog as well as in electronics lab infrastructure for ASIC evaluation and debugging. Experience in image sensor, pixel design is desirable as is experience in all or some of the following; TCAD and device modeling, deep-sub micron CMOS technology (below to 65 nm), LINUX, embedded system design. PCB design, C/C++ and Matlab.
