Position: Head of Sales
Location: Manchester, M15
Salary: £50,000 per annum, Commission- goes up to £85k
Job type: Permanent
We are a small, but growing team made up of extremely talented computer scientists, bioinformaticians, product developers, biomedical curators and experienced industry professionals. To help get us to the next level and ensure we reach the ambitious global targets we have set we are now seeking a world-class Head of Sales.
Desired skills:
Top experience in enterprise sales, preferably in an information / bigdata / biomedical related industry. The closer your experience to our offerings the better, although we will happily consider applicants from parallel industries.
An expert communicator. You are never regarded as a salesman by your clients, but a facilitator of solutions. In this, an understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech and drug discovery industry in general would be a major strength.
Have the profile of a challenger.
Can lead and build the development of a dynamic sales team.
Are willing to travel to engage with clients, although we do not expect this to be excessive initially.
This role would be particularly suitable to individuals with experience working at information companies like Thomson Reuters, IBN, Elsevier, Microsoft, Bloomberg etc.
