We have an exciting opportunity for a .net specialist to join a fast growing, successful online consumer finance business and help play a vital role in the technology team to help lead us through our next phase.

The mission is to create an online marketplace which provides a straightforward and secure peer to peer lending facility to match Borrowers and Investors.

The role will manage a small team of developers, working on a range of exciting projects and taking full responsibility for the development life cycle of new and existing web-based products. It will involve liaising with and influencing a range of key stakeholders across the business as well as leading and motivating the team so outstanding communication skills will be key to success in this role. JIRA is used to manage Development tasks and Confluence as a Wiki - knowledge of this is beneficial. We also develop in an Agile way, with releases every 2 weeks.

Key Technologies: C#, ASP.NET, Microservices, .Net Core 2, Redis, Azure, Elastic Search, Pact and Consumer Driven Contracts, Swagger, Application Insights, Splunk, SonarQube, Service Fabric, Angular, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Jira.

The ideal candidate: Solid hands-on experience in C#/.Net Experience completing all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, requirement gathering and development Ability to innovate and provide input into the architecture Experience managing a team of 2 or more developers Strong understanding of software implementation best practices Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines Preferred but not essential: Experience of distributed, high availability systems is beneficial Experience working in an agile environment
