Permanent days based role 39 hours per week - With overtime available at X1.5

£13.50 per hour) - Overtime rate X1.5 - 33 days holiday, Pension, Life insurance, Bonus Scheme

Are you an established Electro-mechanical fitter? Do you have experience of Winder Fitting? My client are looking for a Winder Fitter on a permanent basis to dismantle, rewind, and reassemble and testing of AC/DC Motors and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will hold a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering or similar (or extensive industry experience), A good knowledge of AC/DC motors and associated equipment and be familiar with various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment including single phase, three phase, wound stators and transformers.

The role:

*On site visits to install or remove AC/DC motors and associated equipment

*Rewind various electro-mechanical equipment and record test results

*Operating specialised repair and testing equipment, including winding machines, test panels, surge testers, grinders, bake ovens, dip tanks and VPI systems amongst others.

The person:

*Formal apprenticeship trained in electro mechanical engineering or similar

*Experience Stripping and rewinding of AC/DC Motors and other electro-mechanical equipment

*Experience of operating specialised test and repair tools including: winding machines, test panels, surge testers, grinders, bake ovens, dip tanks and VPI systems amongst others.
