Business Analyst - Permanent - London - £Competitive Salary

Purpose:

The Business Analyst role partners across the organization to understand business needs, products and processes. The role is responsible for eliciting requirements and developing comprehensive analysis artefacts that enable the delivery of a real time payment system to our Client Customers worldwide.

The role will work together with Product Owners, Architecture, Support teams, Development and Testers to ensure that solutions are appropriate and meet stakeholders needs.

As a Business Analyst you are expected to have the ability to work autonomously and bring leadership where required.

Responsibilities:

- Support the delivery of a complex service and a real time payments platform.

- Work within agile multi-skilled teams to create world class products to serve Client customer's needs.

- Understand the "user" journey end to end which goes beyond the "system"

- Perform the elicitation and analysis of business change, functional and non-functional requirements across a range of stakeholders, internal and external.

- Own and produce relevant analysis artefacts that enable development teams to develop working products.

- Working with the Architecture Group and Development, ensure that solutions are appropriate, meet offshore and onshore stake holders needs align with Business and Enterprise Architecture.

- Collaborating across Business, Architecture, Development and Testers as part of a team to deliver change for Client customers.

- Provide the evaluation of current products and services against proposed changes and product investments.

Knowledge and expertise (technical / role specific)

- Strong analysis and problem solving skills.

- Knowledge of Agile concepts, frameworks & methodologies.

- Should have past experience in working with Cards and Payments Domain.

- Proven track record in Business Analysis within a complex change environment.

- Demonstrable experience of implementing new services into production, including designing service models.

- Experience in high availability systems, with a strong understanding of the complexities.

- Strong relationship building, across both business and technical stakeholders.

- Experience and understanding across multiple technologies.

- Comfortable working with near shore teams

- Full understanding of software development life cycle.

- Modelling techniques and methods

- Should have knowledge (at least) of Message format ISO 8583.

- Experience in payments - Real-time account-to account, SWIFT, SEPA, Cards or ATM payments, Bacs, FPS, CHAPS
