Exciting opportunity on offer for a Contracts manager to play an important and senior role within an expanding company where they can support your career progression in the longer term.

Do you have design experience in architectural metalwork & Steel projects? Have you got experience with running multiple projects?

This company design, manufacture and install a wide range of metal fabrication. They operate in the general construction industry but specialise in the rail sector. With an excess of £7 million turnover and employing over 70 personnel this company is going from strength to strength. With this in mind they are looking for a contracts manager to join their highly skilled team.

In this role you will be responsible for having full understanding of all contract conditions and implementing any changes to requirements. You will be based at the Sittingbourne office where you will be dealing with Directors, Buyers, and the site foreman. You will need to be able to take control of fast paced projects making sure they run smoothly and come in on budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Contracts Manager from a Metal Work - architectural & Steel background. You will be able to design and redesign to problem solve projects. You will have experience with running projects from start to finish and be able to read contract terms and conditions.

The Role:

* Contracts Manager/Projects manager

* Working on Metal Work - architectural & Steel

* Checking and writing RAMS

* Ability to manage site managers, oversee sub-contractors
