Linux Systems Administrator with Linux, Samba/NFS, Windows 7 , Windows Server OS, Active Directory and Scripting for the next 3 months on contract in Bristol.
3 Months Contract

The client is a big name within the Animation Industry and as such require somebody that has a background to match meaning you will need experience within the Animation/VFX industry. Technically however for the role you will need experience with CentOS / Redhat Linux, Samba and NFS configuration in multiplatform environment, Knowledge of Windows 7 Pro including installation and configuration, Windows Server OS and Active Directory, Strong working knowledge of Linux including command line, An understanding of servers, networking, storage and render systems for troubleshooting purposes, Python coding, Shell scripting and LAN/WAN networking. The role is likely to extend and they are looking for an immediate starter however they will not rule out waiting for the right person.
Key skills:
CentOS/Redhat Linux
Samba and NFS configuration in multiplatform environment
Knowledge of Windows 7 Pro including installation and configuration
Windows Server OS and Active Directory
Strong working knowledge of Linux including command line
