Lead Java Engineer

Location: Manchester Salary: £75,000

Type: Permanent Technology: Java 8

You will need to be extremely 'hands on' in your day to day practices as well as advising your team mates. This role will require you to keep an open mind as new technologies will be introduced consistently.

Training will be provided in Extreme Programming, Test Driven Development and Domain Driven Design to deliver "best in class" software. There is a strong path to promotion within this company as they want their own to succeed.

Essential Skills

* Java 8

* Spring Framework

* RESTful and Service Oriented Architectures

* Passion for Object Oriented Programming

Desirable Skills

* Devops skills (eg Docker, Jenkins etc)

* Exposure/Strong Interest in Extreme Programming

* JavaScript skills would be awesome, particularly those including Angular/React or TypeScript
