SC Cleared LAN Tech Refresh Technical Design Authority - Basingstoke - 6 months

SC Cleared LAN Tech Refresh Technical Design Authority required to join a multinational information technology client based in Basingstoke on a 6-month contract.

You will be the Technical Design Authority for the conceptual based Design Engineering whilst demonstrating an understanding of the customer's business, commercial issues, design, strategies and specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

* Providing High Level technical architecture designs. The activities will involve the ownership of High Level Design Patterns and Network Standards, QOS etc.

* Being fully cognisant of the current, in service, network architecture and delivered services.

Mandatory Skills Required:

An experienced technical leader with a track record of successfully leading teams of technicians to a successful outcome.

High level experience in delivering solutions based upon the following product set (or similar):

* Cisco and Juniper switches

* Cisco ASA and Juniper firewalls

* IPSec VPN configuration

Detailed experience of technology design and implementation policies and practices.

A good understanding and experience of the full development and implementation lifecycle, including Integration, Test and Validation.

Desirable Skills Required:

* Good verbal communication skills

* The ability to write coherent, concise, and readable technical documentation

* Detailed experience of technology design and implementation policies and practices

Suitable candidates should ideally hold active SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo clearance checks.
