Data Systems Analyst - Banking - Finance and Compliance Systems up to £68,000 plus banking bonus

As an established and well regarded PSL partner to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Systems Analyst who specalises in the support and planning of IT banking applications across their middle office systems covering Finance, Compliance and Regulatory projects. This role will require strong hands on understanding and application of data warehousing technologies and data models.

You will gather business requirements from users and identify what needs to be planned as part of the systems development. You will create conceptual designs, functional and non-functional design documents to ensure the development understand what needs to be created.

Skills / Environment

Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analysts

Strong understanding of banking middle office systems - including finance, compliance and regulatory

Data Warehouse technology - Data modelling - Data flow diagrams - data definitions

SQL

Producing Technical Designs - function / non-functional, Conceptual designs

Strong understanding of the full SDLC - working with developers, testers and end users

Plan, execute and verify integration testing and systems testing - UAT

Systems support of banking applications

Writing user stories

Test plans / UAT

Hands on technology experience

Analysis and Data mining on large databases

Function architecture modelling

Use-case analysis

Data Warehouse technologies

Physical Model Design

Knowledge of transaction banking applications and services will be critical in this role.

Salary: up to £68,000
