In this role you will get to work alongside one of the industries most highly regarded Android professionals! The successful candidate will join a small and talented team, giving you an opportunity to input into design decisions and have a real impact on how the product is developed. Due to the nature of the project you'll be exposed to all aspects of the software development cycle, from defining the architecture, defining user stories, writing proof of concept apps, validation of UI/UX with prototypes and user testing, traditional development and the deployment of the project into production.

You will work with a variety of devices that include tablets, phones, TVs and wearables as well as sensors. They control the hardware, so you can expect minSDK=21. They work with an agile methodology with quick feedback loops and prototyping and we believe that a methodology should adapt to the team and not the other way around.

Android Skills

*5+ years of software development experience, at least 3 of which working with Android.

*A portfolio or examples of apps published to the Google Play store - is essential

*Experience working in an Agile environment.

*Attention to detail and subtleties of UI design and implementation.

*Understanding of design patterns and material design.

*Strong application process flow and problem solving techniques.

*Experience with Android TV and Android Wear desirable.

*Knowledge of Trusted Execution Environment desirable.

What will you be doing in this Android job

*Build efficient, maintainable code based on requirements, wireframes, and high-fidelity comps.

*Write unit tests and integration tests for critical components.

*Contribute to internal knowledge sharing repositories.

*Collaborate with the cross-functional development team to define, design, and ship new features.

*Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
