Data Migration SQL DeveloperWe are cutrrently working on close partnership with one of largest clients based in the heart of London.  Our client is currently looking for an experienced Data Migration SQL Developer to join the already highly talented team.Job Purpose:The role of Data migration SQL developer is to work within the Data migration team and with the wider business to support, enhance and develop ETL Routines in Source system migration. The developer will design, develop the data extracts using ETL processes as required by project or work requests.General Activities & Key Tasks:

'€¢SQL Skills'€¢ETL development work within the IBM DataStage toolset and within SQL Server T-SQL'€¢Data modelling and data solution design'€¢Provide assistance with the resolution of user problems and queries'€¢Data analysis, reconciliation and manipulation as required'€¢London Market Insurance knowledge'€¢Liaise with users to specify, design and implement changes to the data Migration processes as required by the team

Essential Skills & Qualifications

'€¢Understand the principles of ETL Data Migration, design and development'€¢London Market Insurance knowledge'€¢Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills'€¢Sound Knowledge and hands on experience of MS SQL Server - SQL, SSIS,'€¢Knowledge of SSAS, SSRS'€¢Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere DataStage'€¢Knowledge of data migration principles'€¢Good understanding of Database schema design'€¢Exposure to Transact SQL coding'€¢Understand the principals of data modelling
