Senior DevOps Engineer | Stockholm, Sweden |Competitive Salary

A Global media company focussed on television graphics are building upon an extensive on premise product library by providing cloud products as a service. Working with the very best television and broadcasting companies you will be designing and developing the core infrastructure of the web solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skillset and progress in their career as you will be working with cutting edge technology including VR and AR.

Responsibilities:

* Setting up, monitoring and operating log collection, analytics and dashboards

* Design then implement delivery pipelines that use the latest cutting edge technologies

* Make complex decisions in operational organisational tasks, road mapping, architectural decision making and strategies.

* Capacity Planning

* Develop disaster recovery processes and be on call to handle emergencies.

* Coaching and mentoring.

Desirable Skills

* Experience with public web applications.

* Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, Java, or Go)

* Knowledge of how common web technologies including but not limited to HTML, CSS, HTTP(S), DNS etc

* Previous experience designing and implementing web applications on a cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)

* Knowledge of Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Ansible, or Terraform

* Experience with multiple deployments to production per day.

* Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms

* Development and/or operations of a large number of machines
